We had such a great day on Emmy's Birthday. She was very tired and slept most of it but we still managed to have a little fun. She woke up from her nap to balloons and her best friend Aurah. Her face says it all. They had a blast playing the crib with all of the balloons. We hurried and let her eat her cake before Brad had to go to work. She was not very excited at first but then dug right in! We let Emmy open a few gifts that we got her. We also opened Emerson first savings account. Her party was Saturday March 28. We had it at the park. It was a little too much stress for me. I hate that I need everything to be perfect. We had the most beautiful weather and the best company to celebrate Emerson's first birthday. We are so happy that are friends and Family were able be there. It was a little iffy (is that even a word?) because Emerson did not have a nap but she was a trooper and was very good. We had lots of fun playing, visiting, eating more cake and opening presents. Emerson was more excited about her new train that aunt Pam bought her than to open any other presents. She had a few nice cousins to hep her open them.
I really cant believe that it has been a year. She seems so big now.
